Deception Bay Marina Policies
•Car parking locations are offered on a first come/first serve basis. We ask that you PLEASE park in the furthest parking spot open, to allow others to park without having to squeeze by the cars on the way in to get to a parking spot.
•Docking is designated with client’s name, and all slips are numbered.
•We do not offer garbage collection. We recommend bringing your garbage bags to “Clearwater Market”, one minute away, they charge $3.50 per bag, or buy a strip of 10 at a time for a savings.
• Washrooms are NOT available on the property.
• All boats and vehicles parked at Marina and parking lot are parked at owner’s risk. It is understood that you will carry all necessary boat and automobile insurance.
• Most slips include 1 car parking stall, but may be rented without car parking for a reduction in price(see our “Pricing” page). Large trucks ( 1-ton or more and dual wheel vehicles ) will NOT be allowed to park in your spot. A valid parking pass must be displayed on your car at ALL times, or you WILL be towed.
• No gasoline is sold on the property.
• Excessive noise, music, etc. must be quieted after 11 PM, as we are adjacent to Pye’s Mobile Home Park where people are trying to sleep.
• Dogs should be kept on a leash, and any “accidents” must be cleaned up promptly.
• In the event of a large rain or wind, we will make every attempt to secure all boats, however, Boats should be in good mechanical condition, and have a bilge pump in good working order, with a strong battery. All boats should be tarped when not in use, and made water-tight before leaving for extended periods of time.
• Dead batteries, and other simple mechanical problems can be repaired if necessary for a fee.
